The Oakville Rangers are thrilled to announce the inauguration the U8 Next Gen Cup! The NextGen Cup hosts U8 teams of all skill levels for a fun and exciting weekend of hockey on Family Day weekend. This event focuses purely on fun and we do our best to ensure teams of similar competitiveness are grouped together while also providing a variety of new opponents compared to the normal seasonal play.

The best part of minor hockey is tournaments and our team is committed to delivering a memorable, fun, exciting and enjoyable weekend for all participants and spectators. • Half-Ice games where each team responsible for fielding two teams to play two consecutive half-ice games of 4-on-4
• Tier 1 is the first picked team from a large center - equivalent to a large center's AAA team, Tier 2 - AA , Tier 3 - A/Select
• We will conduct a survey before we finalize schedule to ensure each team is in the appropriate division
