Call to Membership for Vacant Positions

OHRC is in the process of filling a recently vacated Board position and possible committee positions with experienced and dedicated candidates.  Ideal candidates have legal, accounting, sales, marketing, health and wellness, not for-profit, governance and/or sports experience.  The application deadline is Sunday, August 17th, at 5:00pm. please read on for more detail.




The Board of Directors is the governing body of the Oakville Rangers Hockey Club (ORHC) which is a registered Ontario Not-For-Profit Corporation. Individuals who sit on the Board are responsible for oversight, high-level strategic planning, and risk management for Canada’s largest hockey club. Board members are tasked with steering the organization towards a sustainable future by adopting and promoting sound ethical, legal, governance and financial management policies. It is important to note that Board members are not involved in the day-to-day operation of the club. That responsibility falls to the Executive team and the Staff of the ORHC. Board members are expected to participate in approximately 6 in-person meetings a year and virtual meetings as required.
