4-Mustangs, MBW, 2013-2014 (Oakville Rangers Hockey Club)

The team put in a solid effort and were rewarded with another win.  There was some good work by the forwards as the cycling game is showing signs of improvement.  The defense were strong and several timely pinches extended play in the offensive zone.  Matthew was strong once again in net and made several timely saves. 1st star:  Spencer Rempel 2nd Star : Jake Khan 3rd Star: Chris Hubert

The team followed up a successful tournament with a victory to get back on the winning wagon.  The boys played a gritty game and were able to bring home a win.  Players of the game:  1st star: Jerome Bibeau  2nd star:  Thai Hillyard,  3rd star:  Matthew Tanguay.

Another loss for the team as we fell behind early and could not dig ourselves out of the hole.  Once again a slow start to the game did not help our efforts.  One of the bright spots is the boys finally decided to play some hockey in the third period and we played much closer to the level that the boys are capable of playing.  Hopefully, their effort in the 3rd period will carry over into the weekend tournament. 

Our first game of 2014 ended in a 3-0 loss to the Knights.  The boys played a good game, but the Christmas Break clearly showed as the team could not generate any chemistry.  The team had no practices since the break and the coaching staff will be working to get the team back in form.
