Tigers compete in the 59th Mitchell Peewee Tournament
The Oakville Tigers (Minor Peewee White) attended the Mitchell 59th Annual PeeWee Tournament on November 8 & 9. This Local League tournament featured a total of 12 teams.

Kudos to the Mitchell Minor Hockey organizing committee for putting on a great show.

On Saturday morning the Tigers let their first game of the tournament get away from them in the last period. From that point forward the boys raised their level of intensity and went on a three game winning streak which took them all the way to the finals of the Local League division.

In the finals the Tigers met a Peewee aged team from Seaforth. The boys played well and fought right to the last few seconds of the game. In the end we fell 5 to 3, scoring a goal during the last 2 minutes of the game and pressing hard for the entire last minute of play.

Great work boys!

Against tough competition you managed to score 21 goals for, compared to only 14 against.

We are very proud of you all. Let's keep in rolling.
