Bauer World Hockey Invitational Tournament -Chicago
The Minor Peewee AA-1 Team travelled to Chicago this past week-end for the Bauer World Hockey Invitational Tournament. The Team dominated the first game 10-4 vs Atlanta, came together as a team and won 3-2 vs Cleveland and in a strange turn of events beat Michigan 6-5 to proceed to the sweet 16 where they were defeated by the home team Chicago Hawks 2-1. Great games very competitive hockey. Other Tournament highlights included Opening Night ceremonies and skate with Trevor van Riemsdyk, Team Bowling party at the Lucky Strike and touring around Chicago in a chartered bus NHLer style. Good time had by all!
Thanks to all the Coaching staff for showing our players the role they play both on and off the ice and making this tournament a memorable one.
