Minor Atom, 2014-2015, BB (Oakville Rangers Hockey Club)

Oakville March 4, 2015 – The Minor Atom AE team is off to the OMHA finals after a tough semi-final match against last year’s OMHA Champion, Halton Hills Thunder. The Rangers won the final game 4-3 with the winning goal coming from a scramble in front of the Thunder’s net with 6.2 seconds left on the clock, taking the series 3-1.

The Minor Atom AE Rangers won their second tournament of the year at home taking the championship title of the 2014 Richard Bell Tournament.  

The Minor Atom AE Rangers celebrated Thanksgiving with a gold medal victory in the Peterborough Thanksgiving Tournament on Oct 10-12.  The boys went undefeated in 4 games of round robin, defeating TNT Tornados (3-2), Oshawa Generals (3-1), Peterborough Petes (2-1) and Richmond West Carlton (3-1).  This earned the boys a spot in the finals where they once again faced TNT and gave an incredible team effort to win 4-1.  Well done Rangers!
