Minor Atom AE Rangers Richard Bell Champions!
The Minor Atom AE Rangers won their second tournament of the year at home taking the championship title of the 2014 Richard Bell Tournament.
Winning four straight games against the Aurora Tigers (4-0), Hamilton Huskies White (5-3), Burlington Bulldogs Red (5-0), and Peterborough Petes (6-2) earned the Rangers a bye into the final where they faced strong competition against Halton Hills. Taking a decisive 3-0 lead in the first period of the final, the Halton Hills team battled back by getting two goals, but the Rangers held on to their one goal lead with gritty determination and excellent team play to take the Richard Bell Championship title.
Congratulations to the boys on an amazing effort and win and a big thank you to our dedicated coaches and the ever-supportive fans/parents!
