Hard Fought Weekend
Hard fought game on Saturday!
The boys were paired against a fierce team and played a fantastic game.
The defence was hot on their feet keeping a lot of the action in the Penguin's end, but on the few occasions they made it down to the Avalanche net, Jonny Brooks had the house well defended and was clearly channeling the Goal Gods!
The Avalanche forwards had the speed of lighting and were all over the Penguin's best players.
Off Sides plagued both teams. In the end the Penguin's may have won 2:1, but the Avalanche proved they are a tough team and true contender going into the Playoffs.
Well done boys. Let's keep it up as we go into next weekend with Jake the Bear between the pipes!
