MPWR2 - Dombek, MPWR, 2016-2017 (Oakville Rangers Hockey Club)

The Wolverines took their previous league game and used it as inspiration in Oshawa over the weekend.  Playing two games on Friday, one on Saturday, and one on Sunday for a fantastic weekend filled with great hockey.

What can you say about today.  We were pounded.  The opposition players in front of the net were not picked up by anyone and we mustered 10 shots.  Even though we had sustained pressure in their end for a few extended periods, we couldn’t get shots.   You will not win many games much less score a goal with that combination.  We will regroup and try again next week.  

Another exciting game and an even better result.  The boys followed a so-so performance on Wednesday with one of the best of the year today.  The Wolverines are definitely trending in the right direction.  Even though last week was not their best game, it was far from their worst.  Today, the boys put it all together extending their unbeaten streak to five games.  Great effort boys!  

A great start to the new year!  I was a bit worried that we would be rusty coming off the break and not carry on from where we left off.  That concern was erased in the first few minutes once we got the first shift out of the way.  That was a very well-played game by everyone.  

Finally!  The boys have been deserving all season long and finally put one away.
