Meet the Coach
I grew up in Winnipeg and played my minor hockey for the St. Boniface Association. I started coaching minor hockey in 1998 in Brampton and coached all levels from House League to AAA. I coached in Milton for 2 seasons and then joined the Rangers organization in the 2019/20 season. I have been a non-parent volunteer coach since 2012 and had the pleasure of coaching some very good teams and great young men over the years.

About The Program
We have a very experienced and committed coaching staff who all share a great passion for the game and development of the players. We expect players to share in that commitment and be ready to compete at all practices, training, and games. We will coach the team to play a high-tempo, intense brand of hockey. This will start in practice where we will work at a high pace, and work on developing positive game habits.

The Oakville Rangers Elite Performance Program
The Oakville Rangers Elite Performance Program (OREPP) is a high-performance development program that elevates individual skills, team systems, and off-ice conditioning. Initially focused on our AAA teams (U10-U16) and top Red AA teams (U14-U16), this program provides the highest level of training available to Oakville Rangers players. Phase 1 runs from April 26 to June 26, featuring 2-3 off-ice training sessions and 1-2 on-ice skill development sessions per week, with most sessions scheduled Monday to Thursday to keep weekends free.

For more information, please visit https://oakvillerangers.ca/Pages/37229/Elite_Performance_Program/.

We will set up programs that players can work on through the summer to prepare for the season based on their individual requirements.

Training camp will be the week leading into Labour Day weekend. Date is still to be determined. We will look at a preseason tournament in September where we will head away for some team bonding.
