With over 15 years of Rep coaching experience, Mark is a veteran Coach within the Oakville Rangers Hockey Club. During this tenure, he has led his AAA teams to one OMHA Gold championship and three OMHA bronze medals.
At the U18AA level, Mark is privileged to have led strong, dedicated non-parent coaching staffs with recent playing experiences in the CIS, NCAA and OHL. These skilled and experienced coaching staffs allow the U18AA program to be run more like a AAA or Junior hockey team.
Over the past three seasons, Mark’s Oakville U18AA teams have won over 145 games with a 78% winning percentage. These combined teams have won every major championship, including an OHF, OMHA, Tri-County, International SilverStick, Regional SilverStick, California International and multiple local tournaments. In the previous two completed seasons, the U18AA team has been ranked #1 and #2 in Ontario by MyHockeyRankings.com.
Mark strives to provide a fun and memorable experience for players while also further developing their skills and hockey knowledge. With the recognition that some U18 AA players want to pursue higher levels of hockey past U18, a mix of development and fun is provided to meet this objective and give players further opportunities in future years. With the recent strength of the Oakville U18AA teams, many Provincial Junior teams have scouted these Ranger players.
For the 2025-2026 roster, Mark looks forward to adding new players that will complement the team’s returning players. Skill, hockey IQ, work ethic, dedication and personality will all be considered when selecting new players for the team.
