I was born in Scarborough and grew up playing in the GTHL, where my love for hockey started to take shape. Over the years, I had the opportunity to play in several Junior Hockey Leagues, including the OJHL, MJHL, and CJHL. Along the way, I had the privilege of being coached by many individuals who inspired and shaped me, fueling my desire to become a coach myself.
As a coach, I focus on making hockey enjoyable while ensuring that players develop the fundamental skills and techniques they need to succeed. I believe it's equally important to teach children the values of hard work and being a good teammate. I strive to ignite the same passion for the game that I have carried with me throughout my career. My goal is for my players to not only improve as hockey players but also to come to love the game as much as I do.
Being an Oakville Ranger offers a unique opportunity to stay local while giving your child the chance to connect with other players in the community. It’s more than just hockey - it’s about building lasting friendships and fostering a strong sense of belonging. As part of the widely recognized and respected Rangers organization, your child will benefit from top-tier coaching, a supportive environment, and a program that prioritizes skill development and team values. Choosing the Oakville Rangers means giving your child the best of both worlds: competitive hockey and a connection to their local community.
This season, my main focus is creating an environment where my players are excited to come to the rink and have fun. We'll emphasize skating development, edge work, and individual puck skills, all through engaging, age-appropriate drills and games. As the season progresses, we'll watch these skills develop and come together, with each week's games providing a chance to see how much they've grown. My goal is for every player to improve while enjoying the process and building a strong foundation for their hockey future.
