U11 Advanced Rangers - 053 Win MHL Red Championship
It was only fitting that the two Oakville U11 Advanced teams who finished atop the standings at the end of the regular season would continue their strong play into the postseason, each claiming top spot in their respective round-robin pools.
With both Oakville Rangers 059 and Oakville Rangers 053 earning semifinal victories, the stage was set for an all-Oakville Championship Final. The final delivered an exciting and tightly contested matchup. Both teams traded goals early, showcasing their skill, determination, and competitive spirit, and skated to a 3–3 tie at the end of regulation.
In a dramatic overtime finish, Oakville 053 capitalized on a power play opportunity to net the championship-winning goal. It was a hard-fought, back-and-forth battle, but Rangers 053 ultimately displayed resilience, composure, and a relentless drive to come out on top.
