2025/26 Mary Card Community Hero Award Recipient: Todd Rombough
The Oakville Rangers Hockey Club are very proud to announce Todd Rombough as the recipient of the Mary Card Community Hero Award for the 2025/26 season.

The Mary Card Community Hero Award is presented to the volunteer who best exemplifies selflessness, dedication and team spirit in the Oakville Rangers House League community.

Mary Card is a long standing volunteer in the Oakville hockey community. Serving as a Team Manager, Board Member, Convenor and so much more over her many decades with the Oakville Rangers Hockey Club. Chances are if you have been around the rinks in Oakville for the last 40+ years- you know Mary! Mary never asked for anything in return for her service to the Oakville hockey community, volunteering in many capacities, well after her own children had aged out of the program, providing a textbook definition of the word volunteerism and what it means to be a hero in the community.

The 2025/26 recipient of the Mary Card Community Hero Award is Todd Rombough. Todd is a long standing volunteer with the Oakville Rangers who has worn many hats over the past few decades- from Coach to Convenor to Referee. Today Todd serves as the clubs Equipment Manager and official mascot- Ranger Bear! He dedicates countless hours outfitting goalies in our community, providing trusted advice to new hockey families, and is always willing to help out when called upon no matter what the task is. The Oakville Rangers Hockey Club would not be who we are without the effort and dedication of people like Todd!

Congratulations Todd and THANK YOU for all that you do for hockey in Oakville!
