All Evaluation Registrations must go through the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) - the same system you use to register your child for hockey each season. Step-by-step instructions are available here. Below you will find detailed, step-by-step instructions that walk through the registration process in the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR). Or you can click here to download this document in a PDF.

The 2026/27 Evaluation Registration Fee for ORHC Advanced League Evaluations is $85. As a not-for-profit organization, these fees cover ice time, instructors, and admin costs. Any surplus is reinvested into making hockey more affordable.

The 2026/27 Advanced League Coaches and Key Contacts can be found at
www.oakvillerangers.ca/Pages/37330/2026_27_Advanced_League_Coaches_and_Key_Contacts/.

If you are not able to attend an Evaluation due to injury, illness, or schedule conflict please inform the coach directly.

Most of the Evaluation Skates include two separate groups (ie. 7:00pm and 8:00pm). You will receive an email from the coach with your assigned time. For example, let’s say there is a 2-hour session at 7:00pm. This is a single Evaluation Skate, but half of the participants would go to at 7pm and the other half at 8pm - you will only attend ONE of the skates. If you do not receive an email from the coach advising you which half to attend, go to the first hour.

Oakville Rangers

U15 and older is split between two levels - an "A" Team and one or more "Red" Team. Here is what you need to know:

  • You register by division (ie. U16), NOT by level. You CAN NOT register specifically to be evaluated for only the "A" Team or the Red Team.
  • "A" and Red coaches collaborate during Evaluations.
  • When registering for Evaluations you be required to acknowledge and agree that, when applicable, you are being evaluated for ALL of the Advanced League teams within the Division and not any specific one.

Evaluation Registration Refunds are available up to 24 hours before the first skate. After that, no refunds will be issued - no exceptions, even if the player doesn’t attend.

To request a refund, please submit a Evaluation Registration Refund Request at www.oakvillerangers.ca/Forms/14117/.

Players will not register for the 2026/27 Advanced League Season unless they have attended these Evaluations and have been selected to one of the Advanced League teams
